Jewish learning comes in so many forms for all ages. Regular class offerings include Hebrew, Introduction to Judaism, and Love & Religion, our interfaith couples workshop. Meet our Jewish Life Instructors.

Hebrew Classes
Wednesdays, starting September 26, 6:00, 7:00, and 8:00 PM
The Edlavitch DCJCC offers six levels of conversational Hebrew, from learning the aleph bet to reading advanced literature. Our teachers are native Hebrew speakers with many years of teaching experience.
Introduction to Judaism
Tuesdays, October 16 – December 11, 7:30-9:15 PM
Come explore the rich fabric of Judaism! Using traditional texts and modern examples, we will cover the fundamentals of Jewish life, including Shabbat and holidays, prayer, lifecycle rituals, ethics, and beliefs.
Love & Religion: An Interfaith Workshop for Jews and their Partners

Other Classes:
Classes for Theater Lovers
Get a behind the scenes look into all of the elements that go into making a production come together. Learn how a director solves the challenges of a script, and weaves all the design elements (scenery, costumes, lighting and sound) into a unified piece of theater. The registration fee includes tickets to the October 17 preview performance of Actually by Anna Ziegler at Arena Stage in the Kogod Cradle, which will be followed by a discussion.
